VUČIĆ AND DODIK ARRIVE IN ČIPULJIĆ, VUČIĆ'S FATHER’S BIRTHPLACE

BUGOJNO, AUGUST 3 /SRNA/ – Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vučić and President Milorad Dodik arrived today in Čipuljić, near Bugojno, the birthplace of Vučić's father.

Vučić recalled childhood memories with those present, having spent part of his childhood in the village.

"There are only a few Serbs left here, around 40 in total. I will speak with them to see how we can help them," Vučić told the press.

He invited neighbours and other residents of the village and surrounding area to gather at the renovated Vučić family home.

Earlier, Vučić and Dodik visited the municipality of Kupres and the Serbian Orthodox cathedral church in Novo Selo, where they laid wreaths at a monument dedicated to the victims of Ustasha terror.

During their visit, Vučić and Dodik also spoke with residents of Kupres and pledged support for the implementation of infrastructure projects, with the construction of a water supply system identified as the top priority.

Earlier today, Dodik and Vučić also visited the Janj Islands in Šipovo and the family of Darko Ilić in the village of Vodice near Šipovo.
