RADONČIĆ: BEĆIROVIĆ AND KONAKOVIĆ MUST COME OUT BEFORE DEMONSTRATORS

SARAJEVO, FEBRUARY 18 /SRNA/ – The president of the Alliance for Better Future /SBB/ Fahrudin Radončić said that it is the moral and political obligation of BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović and the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers Elmedin Konaković to come out before the demonstrators who have been demonstrating for the sixth day due to the tram accident that occurred in Sarajevo.

Radončić stated that the silence of the self-proclaimed Bosniak leaders is unacceptable.

"While we all support the youth and the inalienable right of the public to learn about all the shady dealings in and around GRAS, Bećirović, the leading Bosniak and a member of the Presidency of BiH, and Konaković, the sovereign ten-year head of Sarajevo Canton and a self-proclaimed Bosniak leader, remain shamefully silent. It is known that they publicly exchanged messages with everyone and anyone, even at a bizarrely low level," Radončić said.

He noted that the demonstrations are being held about a hundred meters from Bećirović's and Konaković's offices, reads a SBB statement.

"So, Denis Bećirović, Dino Konaković, come forward and face the dissatisfied people. You are recklessly and arrogantly counting on all of this passing quickly, while the cantonal government and backroom deals remain in a caretaker mandate. After everything, the two of you are also in a caretaker mandate, because citizens have shown what they think about your parties and your policies," Radončić said.

Protests organised by citizens for the sixth day following the tram accident, which killed one and wounded four persons, ended today in Sarajevo. A new gathering has been announced for Saturday, February 21.
