BELGRADE, APRIL 3 /SRNA/ - Retired Lieutenant Colonel of the Counterintelligence Service Ljuban Karan believes that the attack on Novi Sad secondary school students in Sarajevo was organized and that it is evident that Bosniak perpetrators were prepared and directed to beat Serbian children.
"It is clear who is behind this – these are people who incite the most hatred, attack everything Serbian, and want to eliminate Srpska as the republic of the Serbian people," Karan told SRNA.
He says that those who should be held directly accountable for the attack are invoking mysterious connections and diplomatic passports.
"This is the direction and path where the investigation should focus, because it is clear that someone prepared and directed the perpetrators to beat Serbian children," Karan said, commenting on the information obtained by SRNA that one of the attackers is the son of a diplomat, a close associate of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers Elmedin Konaković, who invoked "diplomatic immunity".
Karan says that at first he thought the attack on Serbian children in Sarajevo happened because of the media climate and the hatred towards the Serbian people, which, as he claims, has been intensively worked on by the Bosniak part of BiH.
"All of this is happening while the intelligence service, which should protect all nations and both entities, is exclusively focused on protecting Bosniaks, provoking, and monitoring the behavior of Serbs," Karan added.
A group of secondary school students from Novi Sad, including girls, was attacked on Friday with wooden and metal sticks near the Theatre in Sarajevo.
According to information obtained by SRNA, one of the attackers is the son of a diplomat, a very close associate of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers Elmedin Konaković.
During questioning, the hooligan invoked "diplomatic immunity," claiming he has a diplomatic passport and that no one can touch him.
