KOŠARAC: KONAKOVIĆ'S POLITICAL FORTUNES ARE SINKING

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, AUGUST 16 /SRNA/ – Every new statement by Dino Konaković is nothing more than a desperate attempt to restore his damaged reputation and political standing, SNSD Presidency member Staša Košarac has stressed.

"He is trying in vain. Konaković’s political ship is sinking relentlessly, and October is approaching. We are not to blame for Konaković's political downfall, no matter how hard he tries to gain the attention he seeks from an increasingly smaller voter base by attacking Milorad Dodik, SNSD and Srpska. The greatest irony is that, without realising it, Konaković has become one of Srpska's best political allies," Košarac said in a statement to SRNA.

Košarac said that everything they had wanted to achieve at the state level had been accomplished and that they would continue to do everything they were doing.

"And the more Konaković attacks us, the easier he makes our job. Every day Konaković remains in power means less BiH. So let him carry on, he is doing a great job," Košarac concluded, commenting on Konaković’s video message addressed, as he put it, to the citizens of Republika Srpska.
