FBiH LOST 86,000 RESIDENTS OVER 13 YEARS

SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 8 /SRNA/ – The FBiH lost 86,072 residents, or 3.9 percent of its population, between 2013 and the middle of this year, read the data of the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

At mid-year, the FBiH had a population of 2,133,059, compared with 2,219,131 in 2013.

According to the data, the age structure of the population has also changed.

The population aging index, which shows the ratio of people aged 60 and over to the population aged up to 19, increased from 80.6 in 2013 to 150.6 in 2026.
