DAVIDOVIĆ: THANKS TO SRPSKA’S SUPPORT, AID IS REACHING SERB RETURNEES

BOSANSKI PETROVAC, AUGUST 24 /SRNA/ - Nemanja Davidović, director of the Returnee Support Centre in Bosanski Petrovac, said that, thanks to the support of Republika Srpska, the Centre’s new premises were opened today and 100 decisions awarding assistance for the reconstruction of properties were presented to returnees.

“The Centre’s new premises have been opened, and 100 decisions awarding assistance for the reconstruction of properties were presented to returnees, along with decisions awarding assistance to women who gave birth last year. Altogether, the assistance is worth more than BAM 450,000, and it is all funded with the support of Republika Srpska,” Davidović told reporters in Bosanski Petrovac.

Davidović, who visited the Centre’s new premises today with the Republika Srpska Prime Minister, said that this was a great day for Serbs in Bosanski Petrovac.

He thanked Minić for taking the time to visit the residents of the municipality and stressed that this support had been ongoing since the day Minić took office as prime minister.

“As soon as he was designated as prime minister-designate, he organized a meeting with Serbs from the Federation of BiH /FBiH/ as part of consultations on the budget for the following year,” Davidović said.

Božana Tubić from Bosanski Petrovac, one of the women who recently gave birth and received financial assistance from the Office of the President of Republika Srpska, stressed the importance of both forms of support.

“I have three children, and this assistance means a lot to us,” Tubić said.
