DERVENTA, DECEMBER 15 /SRNA/ - SNSD President Milorad Dodik stated that municipalities in which the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH seeks the repetition of elections will file individual criminal complaints against members of the Commission, stressing that the electoral process, which Sarajevo has hijacked through the CEC, must be returned to Republika Srpska.
Dodik said that the fact the CEC has still not announced the results of the early elections for President of Republika Srpska represents the greatest belittlement and humiliation of Srpska.
"This is a humiliation for all people in Republika Srpska, for everyone who voted and participated in the electoral process. They want to send us a message that nothing can be done without Sarajevo, not even to complete this process," Dodik told reporters in Derventa.
He underlined the need for all political actors in Srpska to unite in order to return the hijacked electoral process by adopting an electoral law under which local and republic-level elections would be conducted by the Republika Srpska Election Commission.
Dodik said that the BiH CEC is not competent to conduct local and republic-level elections, but only elections for the BiH Presidency member and the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
"In this way, they are undermining the basic elements of our sovereignty, which is the right to elect and be elected and to determine those results ourselves, not someone from the outside," Dodik added.
He said that for them there is a problem only where the SNSD wins, while there is no problem anywhere in the Federation of BiH.
Commenting on SDS claims that someone else voted on behalf of 2,300 people and their demands for a recount, Dodik said that even that number does not affect the final election result, even if those votes were assigned to the rival candidate, SDS's Branko Blanuša, against SNSD's Siniša Karan.
"They act like fortune tellers and claim they can see it. They are making it up, but even that does not affect the result," Dodik added.
He said these are fabricated processes, noting that on election night the SDS and PDP began attacking all places where the SNSD achieved good results, and that later Bosniak members of the CEC joined them in this.
