BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 19 /SRNA/ – SNSD President Milorad Dodik told the opposition to stop lying about the snap presidential elections, stressing that the Central Election Commission /CEC/, which includes representatives of the SDS and the PDP, also confirmed that their appeals were unfounded.
Dodik pointed out that the appeals were assessed as inadmissible and unfounded.
“This means that they are lying. The CEC could not explicitly say that the SDS and PDP are lying, so they stated that the appeals are unfounded. But they continue to lie. When will they stop? It is well known that the staff within the CEC come from these parties; none are from our ranks. And they are telling them that they are lying,” Dodik told reporters in Banja Luka.
According to him, this represents an intolerable situation in which people from Sarajevo have given themselves a monopoly over controlling the will of the Serb people in Republika Srpska.
“This is unacceptable and we will have to address this issue in the period ahead,” Dodik emphasized.
He called on people who are not involved in politics to listen to what the CEC said, that the appeals were inadmissible and unfounded, that there will be no repeat of the elections, that no theft occurred, and that everything the opposition has been claiming since the very beginning is untrue.
“This is the false narrative they have been maintaining to this day and will continue to maintain in the future,” Dodik concluded.
The Central Election Commission of BiH yesterday rejected as unfounded the SDS request for a recount of votes at 140 polling stations in Doboj, Zvornik, Laktaši, Bratunac, Prijedor, Ugljevik, Višegrad and Kozarska Dubica.
The CEC also dismissed as inadmissible the SDS request to annul the elections at those 140 polling stations.
