KOZARSKA DUBICA, NOVEMBER 12 /SRNA/ – The Serb Democratic Party /SDS/ candidate for president of Republika Srpska, Branko Blanuša, said this evening in Kozarska Dubica that Republika Srpska must protect its national interests.
"Our property will not become state property, and our public resources will remain the resources of Republika Srpska," Blanuša said at an election rally.
He reiterated his goal to restore dignity to the citizens of Republika Srpska.
"I have a program and I know how to achieve it, by restoring dignity to the people and ensuring that every citizen of Republika Srpska is equal before the law and institutions," Blanuša said.
He promised citizens transparency in the spending of public funds.
Blanuša emphasized that it is important to restore optimism and faith among young people, to provide security for the middle generation, and dignity for pensioners and war veterans.
Former SDS president and member of the party's Main Board Milan Miličević told reporters that the upcoming extraordinary presidential election in Republika Srpska is very important and called on the citizens of Kozarska Dubica to vote.
SDS Vice President Želimir Nešković expressed confidence that Blanuša would be the next president of Republika Srpska, describing him as a man with an impressive career, capable of protecting Srpska's interests.
The head of the Kozarska Dubica SDS Municipal Board Nikola Zlojutro said that the party is participating at full capacity in the campaign for the upcoming election, stressing that Blanuša is a distinguished patriot and a respected university professor.
The SDS municipal board's campaign rally, held this evening at the House of Culture, was attended by party members and supporters, as well as representatives of the Party of Democratic Progress /PDP/.
