KENJIĆ TO REPRESENT SRPSKA AGAIN AT WORLD YOUTH FESTIVAL

PALE, JULY 22 /SRNA/ - Psychologist Tanja Kenjić from Pale is among the 10,000 young people from more than 190 countries worldwide selected to take part in this year's World Youth Festival in Russia.

"Two years ago, I took part in the festival in Sochi, where I met a large number of successful and talented young people from around the world. That experience motivated me to apply again this year," Kenjić said.

She said that applications for the festival were open to all interested participants aged 14 to 35, and that applications were submitted through the festival's official platform.

The selection process required a detailed presentation of the applicants' fields of interest, submission of diplomas, awards and evidence of projects carried out over the previous year, with each activity carrying a certain number of points.

According to her, additional points were awarded for knowledge of foreign languages, as the entire application process was conducted in English or Russian. Applicants were also required to write an essay about their work and activities.

They were also required to record a video presentation in one of the two languages, with subtitles.

As a graduate psychologist with a grade point average of 9.1, several years of experience in the field of culture and the arts, and employment in the healthcare sector, she based her application on several areas of activity.

"It is a great honour and pleasure for me to have been selected for the second time. It is nice to know that education, talent, discipline and hard work are still valued, although we witness every day the promotion of some different values," Kenjić said.

As she explained, this international event brings together young people from around the world who have achieved success in science, business, culture and the arts. It represents an opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and experiences, as well as for establishing cooperation among young people from more than 190 countries.

"Russia has also shown in this way that it is a powerful country that values knowledge, hard work and true values, providing young people from around the world with an opportunity to connect and present their achievements," Kenjić concluded.

This year's World Youth Festival will be held in Yekaterinburg in September and will bring together 10,000 participants, including 5,000 young people from Russia and 5,000 from abroad, aged 14 to 35.
