AWARDS FOR FILM "AFTER THE PARTY" — CONFIRMATION OF ITS ARTISTIC QUALITY

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 4 /SRNA/ - The awards won by the documentary film "After the Party" at festivals in Calgary and Trebinje represent confirmation of the film's artistic quality and its success with international and regional audiences, said Nikola Đaković from the production company Didaskalija, under whose auspices the film was produced.

Đaković said that these awards provide additional encouragement for the film's further festival screenings and announced that it would continue its participation in international festivals in the autumn, Didaskalija said in a statement.

In recent days, the film received the award for Best Short Documentary at the Second International Independent Film Festival in Calgary, Canada, while at the 14th Festival of European and Mediterranean Film in Trebinje it won the Grand Leotar Charter for Best Short Film.

The film "After the Party" about writer Stevo Grabovac is a production venture of Didaskalija, with Đaković serving as producer, and the Official Gazette of Republika Srpska being the co-producer of the project, which combines literature and film.
