VULIĆ: PDP PRIME MINISTER SIGNED NOTORIOUS VIJADUKT PROJECT; PDP POLICY - DEVELOPMENT ON PAPER, A BAG FULL OF CASH IN PRACTICE

SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 8 /SRNA/ - The PDP is a party that long ago learned to build bridges, not for the people, but for themselves, the Head of the SNSD Caucus in the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Sanja Vulić told SRNA.

Vulić said that in November 2004, their Prime Minister signed the notorious Viadukt project, a symbol of empty promises and costly illusions.

"On paper – development; in practice – a hole in the budget and bags full of cash. Then, in 2015, Mladen Ivanić, as the Serb member of the Presidency, promoted Dr Nenad Baroš, known only to lawyers, as the honorary consul of Cyprus in BiH.

That is why today we are rightfully asking whether Željko Komšić and Denis Bećirević will give their approval to appoint Dr Baroš as the honorary consul of the Channel Islands in Great Britain, where, according to Christian Schmidt's recommendation, money from the Vijadukt project was directed," Vulić said.

"While the people were waiting for investments," she told SRNA, "the PDP was handing out honorary titles, ceremonial positions, and honorary seats, in short, everything except real results.

That's why it's no surprise that prominent PDP officials are millionaires today. All in cash, all in London real estate, and for 30 years, they've been swearing they are the opposition! Their `viaduct` leads in only two directions: toward London villas and toward Schmidt’s office," Vulić emphasized.

She noted that the PDP's policy is a bridge, but a bridge that leads far away from Republika Srpska - kudos to the rare exceptions and the new generations within the PDP.
