THE DISTRICT WILL SHARE THE FATE OF BiH AS A WHOLE

BANJA LUKA, April 30 (SRNA) – The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated that the Brčko District will share the fate of BiH as a whole, and that Muslims are gravely mistaken if they believe they can achieve anything there to their advantage.

"Regardless of what happens, it will always be a motive for a final resolution. We respect that it is jointly owned by both entities — we hold 50 percent. If they think they can do something to their advantage, they are seriously mistaken," Dodik said in an interview with ATV.

The President of Republika Srpska emphasized that a clear line of demarcation exists in Brčko and that it remains highly relevant.

Dodik questioned how anyone thinks they can take Brčko, stating that such expectations are unrealistic if they believe NATO will do it for them.

He also noted that, according to the population census, Serbs make up the largest ethnic group in the district.
