TADIĆ: UNCONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF BiH FACING A MAKE-UP TEST

EAST SARAJEVO, JUNE 13 /SRNA/ – The Unconstitutional Court of BiH failed the test with its first-instance judgment in the political trial against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and is now facing a make-up test, lawyer Ognjen Tadić told SRNA.

"This court is now getting a second chance, but yesterday's information from the session of the Appellate Panel does not work in its favor," Tadić said.

He pointed out that the case assignment system within the BiH Court has long been compromised, reminding that a criminal case is underway against former BiH Court President Ranko Debevec in connection with it.

"The fact that the Court appointed judges to the appellate panel who had previously participated in decisions in the case against President Dodik and the acting director of the Official Gazette of Srpska Miloš Lukić further sheds light on this issue," Tadić noted.

He assessed that this once again shows that breaking the law is not an issue for those behind this political process.

Goran Bubić, legal counsel to Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, yesterday requested that the first-instance verdict be overturned and replaced with an acquittal or a retrial, and proposed that the Appellate Panel of the unconstitutional BiH Court seek advisory assistance from European judicial institutions.
