ŠOLAJA: DODIK'S PARTICIPATION IN MAGA MOVEMENT GATHERING EXTREMELY IMPORTANT

BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 3 /SRNA/ – International relations expert Bojan Šolaja told SRNA that President Milorad Dodik's participation in a MAGA movement gathering in the USA is extremely important, stressing that Republika Srpska has found its place in the modern world and become an equal interlocutor.

Šolaja assessed that the gathering, which will be held at the Mar-a-Lago resort, will bring together people who share common identity-based, ideological and political views.

"The idea of sovereigntism, which is currently gaining prominence in geopolitical relations as a new trend, is now steering developments in a different direction, which we were able to see with the return of US President Donald Trump to the White House and the departure of the previous administration," Šolaja stressed.

He noted that the upcoming gathering s eixtremely important as it is taking place at a time when the world is undergoing realignment and geopolitical and geostrategic circumstances are changing.

According to him, it has become evident that liberal ideas have caused far more damage than had previously been acknowledged.

"Global forces today want to bring 21st-century conflicts to an end and steer agreements towards addressing the identity-related issues of individual states. We are talking about a world with much greater understanding for smaller and different entities, and Republika Srpska has, in a way, found its place in that world and become an equal interlocutor," Šolaja said.
