RULEBOOK ON IMPLEMENTATION OF VAT LAW ADOPTED

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 22 /SRNA/ - The Rulebook on the Implementation of the VAT Law, relating to the purchase of a first real estate property, was adopted today at a session of the Management Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority /ITA/ of BiH in Banja Luka.

The Minister of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers Srđan Amidžić said that gathering the required documentation will not take more than five days.

He said that this rulebook could have been adopted as early as November last year if certain individuals had not put politics above citizens' interests.

"Politics was above citizens at that time. Thirteen documents will be required. Out of the 13 documents, citizens already have three with them," Amidžić told reporters after the session of the ITA Management Board.

He said there was no backing down on this issue.

"Citizens will be able to resolve their housing issues more easily. I regret that citizens' lives were reduced to politics. We did not allow any conditioning on this matter, and I am extremely happy that the rulebook has been adopted," Amidžić stated.
