OPPOSITION'S ATTEMPT TO BELITTLE THE DIPLOMATIC SUCCESSES OF REPUBLIKA SRPSKA'S LEADERSHIP REFLECTS POLITICAL DESPERATION

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, MARCH 4 /SRNA/ - Futile attempts by certain opposition figures in Republika Srpska to diminish and belittle the diplomatic successes of the state leadership of Republika Srpska are nothing more than an expression of their political desperation, helplessness, and general disorientation, assessed Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac.

Košarac emphasized that they persistently try to position themselves in political discourse based on unfounded and unsuccessful criticism of the authorities in Republika Srpska.

"It is clear to us that they are hurt by the success of President Milorad Dodik and the Serb member of the Presidency of BiH, Željka Cvijanović. It is also clear that they see SNSD as the culprit for all of their political mistakes and failures," Košarac claims.

He believes that for certain opposition members it is easier to deal with SNSD than with the political parties to which they themselves belong.

"In their parallel universe, it is simpler to criticize SNSD than, for example, to address the situation and relations within PDP. Does that party even exist? Obviously, it does not," Košarac stated on Instagram.

He asked what they had done for Republika Srpska when they were in power at the level of the institutions of BiH.

"It would be interesting to ask our citizens whether they can recall a single diplomatic initiative that they successfully implemented during that mandate and that contributed to a better positioning of Republika Srpska internationally. Can even PDP members recall such an initiative?" Košarac asked.
