SARAJEVO, MAY 9 /SRNA/ - Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović said that the Presidency of BiH has not reached an agreement for Denis Bećirović to represent BiH at a session of the UN Security Council.
"It would only be possible for one person to represent BiH if all three members of the Presidency had previously agreed, which is not the case here either. After all, there is certainly a reason why BiH has a three-member Presidency," Cvijanović said.
She added that things are therefore clear, except to those who choose to live in delusion.
Commenting on headlines in Federation media claiming that BiH would be represented at the UN Security Council session by Denis Bećirović, and that Christian Schmidt would also attend, Željka Cvijanović said that Republika Srpska's position is that processes in BiH should be returned to domestic institutions so the country can function based on its constitution.
"Unilateral actions by unelected foreign representatives, outside the Dayton Agreement, have caused immeasurable damage to BiH and undermined trust between the constituent peoples," Cvijanović wrote on X.
