BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 14 /SRNA/ – The shameful message by Mustafa Cerić suggesting that some kind of a "Bosnian Orthodox Church" should be established in BiH is, in essence, a message to Serbs in Republika Srpska and in BiH that they are not Serbs, which represents the gravest attack on the identity of a constituent people, said Radovan Kovačević, a Serb delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

"In Republika Srpska and in BiH, Orthodox Serbs live, and there do not live, nor have there ever lived, any so-called `Bosnian Orthodox Christians,`" Kovačević emphasized in a post on the social network X.

Kovačević noted that such shameful messages are even more dangerous considering that they were certainly not sent by chance, but by none other than the former head of the Islamic Community in BiH.

"A radical response to such a radical attack would be the establishment of an `Islamic Community in Republika Srpska,` but fortunately, such nonsense does not occur to anyone in Srpska.

In Srpska, we know that if you want to earn respect from others, you must also show respect. That is obviously a lesson that the unfortunate Cerić will never learn," said Kovačević, who is also the spokesperson of the SNSD.
