KOŠARAC: PIC SESSION - BEATING A DEAD HORSE AT SARAJEVO'S GATHERING

SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 3 /SRNA/ - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac described the Peace Implementation Council /PIC/ session as a "Sarajevo gathering of tattletales" who are eternally waiting for someone else to solve their problems, even if that someone is a fake High Representative or a non-existent organization like the PIC.

"It's all fiddle-faddle – that's how another Sarajevo gathering of the self-styled group of ambassadors, occupier Christian Schmidt, and representatives of some parliamentary parties went," Košarac told SRNA.

That sad gathering, he pointed out, was attended mostly by Bosniak MPs, but unfortunately also by part of the opposition in Republika Srpska.

"All sorts of people met, and right after, rushed to the media to brag about what they demanded from their mentors," Košarac said.

He pointed out that the first item on their anti-Serb agenda is to blame the SNSD and Republika Srpska for everything imaginable, including blocking the path to the EU.

"The tattletales at the gathering – they would do everything easily if it weren't for the SNSD. Everything would be easy if it weren't for the electoral will of the Serb people. Everything would be easy if it weren't for Republika Srpska," Košarac emphasized.

According to him, they still haven't come to their senses and finally realized that the SNSD, the electoral will of the Serb people, and Republika Srpska are a reality and an inevitability.

"In their own political delirium, fear of taking responsibility, and lack of basic political knowledge, the `Troika` continues to resort to a tried-and-tested method – running to the lap of the occupier Schmidt to secure yet another of his anti-Dayton, unconstitutional, and illegal decisions," he explained.

Košarac believes that in this vicious circle – from the occupier Schmidt to the non-existent PIC and back – the "Troika" solves nothing.

"Quite the opposite - they have become champions in the far from commendable discipline of `beating a dead horse,`" he said.

A two-day meeting of the Peace Implementation Council began in Sarajevo yesterday. Representatives of parties from the Federation of BiH and opposition parties from Republika Srpska represented in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly attended part of the meeting.
