KOŠARAC LEFT FOR "EXPO" IN NINGBO

SARAJEVO, MAY 20 /SRNA/ - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac will stay from tomorrow until Sunday, May 25, on an official visit to China, where he will participate in the international exhibition "China - Central and Eastern European Countries Expo" in Ningbo.

Among other things, Košarac will address the Business Council of China and Central and Eastern European countries, and a special event focused on the tourism and investment potentials of Republika Srpska and BiH.

Meetings with high-ranking Chinese officials are also planned.

Košarac told SRNA that this year marks three decades since the establishment of diplomatic relations between BiH and China, and that the cooperation with China serves as an example.

“Over these thirty years, we have nurtured friendly ties with China, and our relations continue to develop and deepen in all areas in the best possible way,” emphasized Košarac, who is also the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations.

He says that cooperation with China is a shining example and a clear indicator of how bilateral relations can be stable and cordial when based on sincere values - mutual respect, understanding, and openness to cooperation.

Košarac emphasized that the priority is to enhance political, economic, and all other relations with China.

He assessed that the excellent bilateral relations were also confirmed during the recent meeting between Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Moscow.

“We are grateful to China, President Xi Jinping, the Chinese leadership, and the friendly Chinese people for their balanced approach towards BiH and their principled stance respecting the Dayton Peace Agreement and international law, especially regarding the UN Security Council’s position on the Office of the High Representative and Christian Schmidt and his illegitimacy,” Košarac said.
