KOŠARAC: CELEBRATION WITH THOMPSON MUSIC TO HELEZ’S DISGRACE!

EAST SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 7 /SRNA/ – Staša Košarac, Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers, stated that the celebration of Minister of Defense Zukan Helez, accompanied by the music of Marko Perković Thompson, should be to his own disgrace, as that is not music but a promotion of hatred.

“If Helez finds joy in promoters of a hate-fueled and banned ideology, which we believed had been defeated 80 years ago, what are we even talking about?” Košarac asked.

He noted that while he understands emotions and love for one’s hometown, but celebrating with Thompson’s music is unacceptable.

“That’s not music, it's a promotion of hatred, a glorification of crimes and of those who committed them,” Košarac posted on X.

A video has surfaced on social media showing Helez celebrating at a wedding with songs by Marko Perković Thompson, who is known for glorifying the Ustaše and the Independent State of Croatia /NDH/ in his music and concerts, including the crimes that Ustaše forces committed against Serbs.
