KOŠARAC: WITHOUT CONSENT OF SRPSKA, THERE IS NO EU PATH OF BiH, DODIK IS THE ADDRESS FOR NEGOTIATIONS

SARAJEVO, MAY 19 /SRNA/ - The Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the Council of Ministers of BiH Staša Košarac told SRNA that the alleged absurdity of Bosniak politics was reflected in today’s Council of Ministers session, where Bosniak ministers voted against opening the new border crossing in Gradiška.

Košarac stressed that it has once again been shown that "the Troika" does not understand anything, but that this does not prevent it, in coordination with Zijad Krnjić from the Management Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH, from undermining any capacity of the country.

"All masks have fallen! Their obstruction of the opening of the new border crossing in Gradiška, following the collapse of part of the bridge and the closure of the crossing to traffic, goes beyond mere politics and is truly on the edge of common sense," Košarac said.

He said that Bosniak political activity is always directed against the interests of Republika Srpska, even when it goes against the interests of BiH itself.

"They are not even for BiH. They are always and exclusively against Republika Srpska," Košarac stated.

He added that the new border crossing in Gradiška is not an exclusive interest of Republika Srpska, but of all citizens in both Republika Srpska and the FBiH, as well as all businessmen.

"How will they explain their decisions to citizens and the business community? Will they be held accountable for the blockade of foreign trade flows and the resulting damage to the economies of both Republika Srpska and the FBiH?!" Minister Staša Košarac asked.

He emphasized that their obstruction demonstrates the dysfunction of BiH institutions, stating that participating in the work of the Council of Ministers under blackmail is pointless.

"We can do the same, as well as consider participation in the work of the Council of Ministers during the week," Košarac said.

Bosniak ministers in the Council of Ministers of BiH today voted against opening the new border crossing in Gradiška.

A partial collapse of the concrete structure and railing occurred overnight on the bridge over the Sava River in Gradiška, resulting in a complete suspension of cross-border traffic for all vehicles and pedestrians.

The newly built border crossing and bridge, connecting BiH with the EU /Croatia/ on the country's most important transport route, worth 100 million Euros, have been ready for use since December last year, but a member of the Management Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority from the FBiH Zijad Krnjić has repeatedly prevented their opening for exclusively political reasons.

Krnjić’s blockade has caused significant economic losses for Republika Srpska and BiH, as passenger and freight traffic has been forced to use the already overburdened old border crossing.

Krnjić has declined consent five times for the necessary amendments to internal acts for the opening of the new border crossing in Gradiška.
