SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 4 /SRNA/ – The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has halted the investigation against Milorad Dodik, Radovan Višković and Nenad Stevandić in the case "attack on the constitutional order," the institution confirmed to SRNA.
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH had earlier launched an investigation against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, Speaker of the Republika Srpska National Assembly Nenad Stevandić, and former Prime Minister Radovan Višković after the National Assembly of Srpska, on February 27, adopted a law banning the work of certain judicial and police institutions of BiH on the territory of Republika Srpska.
The law stipulated that the laws on the Court of BiH, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), and the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) would not be applied or enforced on the territory of Republika Srpska.
On October 18, the National Assembly of Republika Srpska adopted the Law on the Termination of the Validity of Certain Laws, including the Law on Immovable Property Used for the Functioning of Public Authority, the Law on Non-Implementation of Decisions of the BiH Constitutional Court, the Election Law of Republika Srpska, the Law on Non-Implementation of Laws and Prohibition of the Operation of Unconstitutional Institutions of BiH, the Law on Amendments to the Criminal Code of Republika Srpska, and the Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Republika Srpska.
