GRATITUDE TO SRPSKA INSTITUTIONS FOR JOINING INDEPENDENCE DAY MARKING

SARAJEVO, JULY 5 /SRNA/ – The U.S. Embassy in BiH thanked the institutions of Republika Srpska for joining the marking of the 250th anniversary of American independence.

"Thanks to the institutions of Republika Srpska for joining our marking of 250 years of American independence," the U.S. Embassy in BiH posted on social media.

The Palace of the Republic in Banja Luka was illuminated on Friday, July 3, in the colours of the American flag and with an image of U.S. President Donald Trump.

The Office of Republika Srpska president said this was done to mark the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence and to continue strengthening the good cooperation between Republika Srpska and the United States.

Independence Day is a U.S. national holiday celebrated on July 4 to commemorate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
