GOGANOVIĆ WITH MILLER: SRPSKA REMAINS COMMITTED TO COOPERATION WITH AMERICA

WASHINGTON, APRIL 17 /SRNA/ – Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers Aleksandar Goganović met in Washington with the Director of the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency Michael F. Miller.

During the meeting, Goganović emphasized that the United States remains a key partner in the defence system, noting that through joint partnership peace and security in BiH can be preserved, as well as stability in the entire region, with further enhancement of cooperation in combating terrorism.

He told American partners that a predictable course in the defence system will be maintained, and that the Republika Srpska leadership is committed to building a strong partnership with the United States and expanding cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, announced the Office of the Deputy Minister of Defence.

After the meeting, Goganović told SRNA that there are various areas in which Republika Srpska can cooperate with the United States.

"By strengthening cooperation in the economy, medicine, education, and other sectors, we are actually strengthening our partnership with the US. Republika Srpska will certainly take advantage of that opportunity," Goganović emphasized.
