SARAJEVO, MARCH 25 /SRNA/ - Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers, Aleksandar Goganović, told SRNA that graffiti containing threatening messages against Serbs at the training grounds of the Basic Training Center in Pazarić constitutes a dangerous provocation that endangers security and interethnic trust, adding that Serb members of the Armed Forces will be fully protected.

Goganović stated that he has requested an urgent response from the international community and warned that any silence would amount to tacit approval, which is already coming from political circles in Sarajevo.

"Such incidents are not just vandalism, but a dangerous provocation that deepens divisions. It is particularly concerning that the target is a military facility, which should be a symbol of stability," Goganović emphasized, referring to the graffiti on the walls of the barracks in Pazarić bearing the message: "Death to Serbs, Bosnia to Bosniaks."

He called on the competent authorities to respond urgently and sanction those responsible, emphasizing that there is no room for downplaying such incidents.

Goganović also pointed out that the training ground is an open area, with no permanent guard or video surveillance, which allows civilians to access it.

He emphasized that this further underscores the seriousness of the incident, as it occurs at a location where soldiers, upon entering the defense system, first encounter the military environment, and such provocations send a dangerous and unacceptable message.

"I make it clear that members of the Armed Forces from the Serb people will be fully protected while I hold this position. I will not allow any form of pressure or threat to their safety and dignity," Goganović emphasized.

He strongly condemned the threatening graffiti at the training grounds of the Basic Training Center.
