MUSLIM POLICE, MILITARY AND POLITICAL LEADERS SUPPORTED MUJAHIDEEN CRIMES, DŽAFEROVIĆ AND FUGITIVE MAHMULJIN ACCOMPLICES IN MONSTRUOUS CRIMES

BELGRADE, OCTOBER 9 /SRNA/ - Vlado Živković, commander of the Prnjavor Brigade of the Republika Srpska Army /RSA/, whose fighters were beheaded by the Mujahideen on Ozren and tortured in the most brutal way, told SRNA that Serbs in the 1990s experienced the fanaticism and cruelty of jihadists, and that Europe, which allowed them to remain in BiH as meritorious citizens, is yet to get to know them.

Živković emphasized that the Prnjavor Brigade held the lines on Ozren for 14 months, from April 1994, while on the other side, among the enemies were members of the "El Mujahideen" unit as part of the 3rd Corps of the so-called Army of BiH, commanded by Sakib Mahmuljin.

"Members of the so-called Army of BiH used the Mujahideen for offensive operations. The Mujahideen sent scouts along the entire battle line to see where they could pass. They go into combat operations shouting `Allahu Akbar` and literally run like hell towards the gun barrel, I have no other word for it. So, it's such fanaticism that it's unimaginable. Terrible!" Živković said.

INVITATING ALLAH, MUJAHIDEEN CUT OFF THEIR HEADS, CRUEL TORTURE IN BOČINJA CAMP

He pointed out that this infamous unit "is an understatement to say that it was genocidal" and stressed that it is enough to state that the mujahideen were feared by both the soldiers of the so-called Army of BiH and the local Muslim population in Nemila, where they were stationed.

As an illustration of their cruelty, Živković cited an incident when his fighters killed a Mujahideen who was in a reconnaissance unit during combat operations, followed by a terrible reprisal in which members of the El Mujahideen detachment impaled the head of the murdered Serb fighter on a post.

"My fighters told me that they had pulled him out, and I immediately responded to them by radio - `Keep your hands on your hips, be careful, don't relax!` The Mujahideen returned, they jumped into our trench and then they cut off Đukić's head. They took that head away, impaled it and put it on the line. You can imagine what it was like for our guys. So, they are holding the line, and there, 50, 100 meters away, they are looking at the head of their yesterday's comrade impaled on a poll," he said.

According to Živković, the atmosphere of that battlefield left the greatest mark on the fighters, even though the breakthrough of the Corridor and other difficult battles were behind them.

"The hardest thing is mental. We are not made of stone. Especially people who had to stay awake at night in the trenches. You can't be indifferent when you hear `Allahu Akbar!` and you know what they are ready to do," Živković said.

Živković stated that during the enemy offensive in May 1995, a large number of Prnjavor residents were captured, including members of the medical team, doctor Branko Šikanić and technician Velibor Trivičević, who survived 174 days in the infamous Mujahideen camps.

"They were taken to Bočinja, where they suffered horrors, they were beaten, tortured, they were not allowed to close their eyes, they were in a tightrope walk. They cut off the head of one of our fighters with an axe, and then forced them to kiss it while they were still alive," he said, adding that some of the prisoners were exchanged.

"They were exchanged, exchanges were made, we had their people who they cared about, and the most important thing that the Red Cross recorded, then they transferred them to Zenica; it was mistreatment," he recalled.

Živković said that during the offensive in May and July 1995, the Prnjavor Brigade suffered its greatest losses since its establishment, and that during the fighting on Ozren, 131 fighters were killed, while at least 200 were wounded.

"The enemies did not manage to break through in those two offensives. In the 14 months we spent in that position, we defended Ozren, went to Novi Grad and defended that municipality. The largest offensive was repelled by the Prnjavor Brigade and Croatian generals admit that it was the greatest defeat of the Croatian army," Živković pointed out.

He added that it may be inappropriate to say, but that, after the experience of fighting with the Mujahideen, fighting on this battlefield was "like a picnic" for the people of Prnjavor.

Živković noted that many people still ask today why the defense of Ozren was so important, and that it is enough to look at the landscape of that mountain for everything to become clear.

"It's a huge part that is being drawn into the Federation of BiH, which separated two corps. It simply had two Bosniak corps on its back. God forbid Ozren had fallen in 1992. That would have meant that they would not have defended the Corridor because Prnjavor, Doboj, and the Corridor were defended up there," he pointed out.

Živković stated that the search for 15 people from Prnjavor who went missing on Ozren is ongoing and expressed suspicion that their remains are being misused.

"I bet these people, who we will never find, are being transferred and buried there in Srebrenica just so that the Muslims have the numbers they need for their story. The Mujahideen did all sorts of things with the bodies of our fallen fighters, they have their own terrible rituals, I can't even talk about them," said Živković.

ABU MALI, ENVER SHABAN AND ABU MUSA

He emphasized that, according to his estimate, the "El Mujahideen" unit consisted of 1,500 people from more than 40 countries, and that they were commanded by operative Abu Mali, who after the war in BiH went to Chechnya and allegedly died.

"Their religious leader was Sheikh Enver Shaban. El Abu Musa was also prominent; he remained in Bočinja after the war, like many others. He married the widow of a martyr, and allegedly has five children. They were granted citizenship. They usurped Serb houses. I have nothing more to say," said Živković.

He stressed that the position of the authorities of Republika Srpska, which does not allow camps to be opened on the territory of Srpska for migrants who are being returned by Western countries, is correct.

"The fight of Republika Srpska is one hundred percent right. Europe will only see what it has received," Živković pointed out.

He stated that those who came to BiH as warriors of Islam are a problem not only for Serbs returning to the Federation of BiH, but also for local Muslims.

"They were a problem for them both in the war and today in peace. There is reliable information that before the signing of the Dayton Agreement, they executed their entire command. The so-called Army of BiH executed the command of the `El Mujahedin` detachment," noted Živković.
