EUFOR PERSONNEL AMONG DEAD AND INJURED IN CRASH OF ITALIAN HELICOPTER

SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 29 /SRNA/ – The people killed and injured in the crash of an Italian military helicopter in Brčko were members of EUFOR, the military mission said in a statement.

EUFOR said that the aircraft involved was an Italian-made CH-47 Chinook helicopter.

"Emergency services are at the scene and are working to bring the situation under control. EUFOR is conducting a full and detailed investigation into the incident," the statement said.

EUFOR urged the public to avoid spreading inaccurate information and to refrain from any speculation about the nationality and identity of the EUFOR personnel involved in the accident.
