ELEK: I WILL RESPOND TO THE AUTHORITIES' SUMMONS, BUT I EXPECT KONAKOVIĆ TO SIT NEXT TO ME

EAST SARAJEVO, AUGUST 6 /SRNA/ – Director of Sarajevo-Gas from Eas Sarajevo Nedeljko Elek stated that he will gladly respond to a summons from the competent authorities following a complaint filed by the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH for alleged pressure on its members, adding that he expects Elmedin Konaković, whom he called the spokesperson for the Dino and Tito clan, to be sitting beside him.

"I'm glad that /Vanja/ Bjelica-Prutina has remembered justice and the law, but I'm disappointed she didn’t remember it when Konaković openly threatened to bring people to the streets of Sarajevo if the judgment against /President of Republika Srpska/ Milorad Dodik wasn’t upheld," Elek told SRNA, adding that Konaković is falsely presenting himself as the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers.

He says this only confirms he was right about everything he said and that he stands by his statements.

Elek believes that Republika Srpska representatives within the CEC should be defending the interests of Srpska and its institutions.

"But clearly, they love Konaković more than Elek, and I’m glad to be on the opposite side from them," Elek emphasized.

The CEC of BiH filed a complaint against SNSD member and director of Sarajevo-Gas Nedeljko Elek for indirect threats and pressure on its members, made ahead of a session where the revocation of presidential term of Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik is to be discussed.

The complaint followed a post Elek made yesterday on the social media platform X.
