DONALD TRUMP'S ADMINISTRATION BROUGHT CHANGES ON GLOBAL LEVEL

SARAJEVO, JUNE 10 /SRNA/ - The Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović stated that with the arrival of US President Donald Trump's administration, many things have changed on a global level and that BiH can fit into the realization of projects and economic cooperation on the foreign policy front.

Cvijanović said that such an orientation of the new American administration is favorable for BiH, but that it just needs to be understood.

"Another important orientation is the lack of desire or inaction, or the removal from behavior of something called building other people's nations. I remember when President Trump said in Riyadh last year that they will not tell others how to live," noted Cvijanović.

She pointed out that the US, due to its approach, has not backed down from anything, although there are serious disagreements when it comes to the concept and when it comes to the mechanisms or tools used in political action.

Speaking about the lifting of sanctions by America, Cvijanović stated that the feeling is different and that everything is easier, including in an administrative sense.

She recalled that a law was immediately passed in Republika Srpska that enabled the payment of salaries through the post office, while this was not the case in the FBiH, and that there are now MPs who are unable to receive their salaries.

"This is now a huge amount of accumulated money that you have earned, but it is denied to you because the post offices did not apply for that tender back then, it seems to me, which was announced by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury," said Cvijanović.

Cvijanović pointed out that the actions taken in Republika Srpska at that time were part of a certain political reflection or planning.

"We decided to draw all possible attention to all those injustices and abnormal situations that we have to live with in BiH. I think we succeeded in that," emphasized Cvijanović.

She emphasized that a complete recovery has happened, which implies that the sanctions have been lifted, that a hand has been extended to Republika Srpska, that this hand has been accepted, and that talks have begun.
