DODIK: SDA'S CONCLUSIONS THAT BRČKO SHOULD BELONG TO THE FBiH ARE ANTI-DAYTON

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 26 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said that SDA's conclusions that "Brčko District should belong to the Federation of BiH /FBiH/" are anti-Dayton and that Republika Srpska will not simply stand by or welcome such a thing with applause.

Dodik told reporters in Banja Luka that such a move by the SDA is a serious indication that we should immediately separate, and emphasized that Muslims in BiH are an expansionist structure that will be stopped at the entity border.

"They only focus on Milorad Dodik. They almost formed a ministry just for me," Dodik said.

He says Bosniak politicians in the FBiH, unlike those in Republika Srpska, accept Christian Schmidt.

"They are in collusion with the politics and religion of Islam. Brčko has never been part of the FBiH. It was included in the Constitution through the intervention of the international community. These liars from the West claimed arbitration was necessary while collaborating with the SDA. We will not just stand by and applaud that," Dodik warned.

He says that political Islam and Bosnia for them are simply the program of the SDA that they created.

"Clearly, someone promised Alija Izetbegović that BiH could exist without Republika Srpska. What we are seeing from the SDA is a serious reason to separate immediately. They tell someone what they should do? The Bonn Conference is a bluff and a deceit. We've been living in this bluff for nearly 30 years. They have no right to deal with Republika Srpska," Dodik said.

He says that attention should be paid to the Serbian communities in the FBiH and that Republika Srpska makes up 49 percent of the territory, while 24 percent of the Federation of BiH belongs to Muslims.

"When U.S. Ambassador Christopher Hill was leaving, he said that the main problem was that the SDA controls the Court and the Prosecutor's Office. We have removed Osman Mehmedagić Osmica from office, and we will finish this with the Court and Prosecutor's Office as well," Dodik said.

He has said that their behavior toward Republika Srpska is unacceptable and does not indicate any possibility for dialogue.

"How do you think you can take Brčko for yourselves? That is not possible. Fifty percent of it is ours. Brčko was created as a concession to the Muslim side. It’s yet another deceit. They are used to acting and behaving this way. Alija Izetbegović acknowledged that they were not satisfied with Dayton. Their belief in Bosnia is not the same as ours," Dodik said.

Dodik emphasizes that there is still an echo of neoliberal governance in Europe.

"Trump's policy is based on no longer building states and nations. BiH is not a state. Republika Srpska has the elements of a state. BiH does not exercise sovereign control over its territory. The only solution is for us to part ways. There will be no conflict here," Dodik said.
