DERVENTA, APRIL 14 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik has stated today that official Sarajevo is blocking development projects in Republika Srpska.
"It is difficult to expect the projects important for Republika Srpska to be unblocked in Sarajevo. Let's not hinder each other's development projects," Dodik said at a public forum in Derventa, answering residents' questions.
He recalled that important gasification projects were agreed with Russia ten years ago, and that both Serbs and Croats wanted it.
"Muslims never gave their consent. We lost investments of two billion. We lost numerous investors," Dodik said.
He has pointed out that Sarajevo is constantly trying to be superior to Republika Srpska, but it is not according to the Dayton Peace Agreement.
"This is a community of two entities and three peoples. They want to change it hierarchically," Dodik said.
When it comes to the opposition, they have become pro-Bosnians. They believe that the government at the BiH level should be in place and superior to us. That will not happen. When they sit with those from the Federation, they have no demands.
We managed to remove Osmica from the ISA. If we had not succeeded, we would have had political assassinations here.
Dodik, who is also the SNSD leader, stated that this party has essentially preserved the position of Croats in BiH.
"Their position would have been much more difficult. It was important that Croatia not be our opponent at the EU level. I think there is an understanding at the BiH level that has produced Croatia's neutral position," Dodik assessed.
