DODIK: PEOPLES ARE BEARERS OF POLITICAL SOVEREIGNTY, BiH MUST RETURN TO CONSTITUTION

MOSTAR, JULY 13 /SRNA/ - The President of SNSD Milorad Dodik stated today in Mostar that the constituent peoples in BiH have political sovereignty and that BiH must return to the Constitution because it cannot function otherwise.

"The Christian Croatian people and the Orthodox Serbian, as well as the Muslim people - Bosniaks, are sovereign peoples in BiH," Dodik told reporters after the meeting of the HDZ BiH and SNSD delegations.

Emphasizing that SNSD advocates for the preservation of stability and peace, Dodik stated that HDZ, as the political representative of the Croatian people, is relevant in representing the views of the Croatian people in BiH.

"We believe that the Croatian people have been humiliated and belittled by the Bosniak people regarding the election of the Presidency member. We will support any initiative to resolve this issue, which is in the interest of the Croatian, constituent, Christian, Catholic people," said Dodik.

He assessed that Bosniaks have shamefully abused the ambiguities in the method of electing the Croatian member of the BiH Presidency.
