DODIK: KONAKOVIĆ TRYING TO PROLONG HIS TIME IN POWER

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 12 /SRNA/ - SNSD leader Milorad Dodik said People and Justice party leader Elmedin Konaković was trying to remain in power for as long as possible, and asked how he intended to form a government if he excluded both HDZ and SNSD.

"Konaković is trying various ways to stay in power as long as possible, that's all there is to it. So, supposedly, no HDZ, no SNSD. Fine, do it the way you planned. Then let's see, smart guy, how you think that can work," Dodik said at a press conference in Banja Luka after meeting an HDZ BiH delegation led by party leader Dragan Čović.

He asked why Konaković should be considered an important interlocutor in talks on forming a government, saying Bosniak voters had already judged him a loser in the general elections.

"His own Bosniak people said he was a loser. What do Dragan or I have to say about him?" Dodik said in response to reporters' questions.
