EAST SARAJEVO, JANUARY 14 /SRNA/ – The Serb member of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, said it was surprising that former head of the Islamic Community in BiH, Mustafa Cerić, did not ask one of the "High Representatives" to impose a solution that would establish a "Bosnian Orthodox Church."

Cvijanović noted that at first glance it may seem pointless to engage in polemics, but that it should be taken into account that Cerić, while serving as the active head of the Islamic Community in BiH, complained that following the breakup of Yugoslavia all nations had obtained their own national states-except the Bosniaks.

"This means that, in his view, BiH should be a Bosniak state in which Serbs and Croats would be tenants," Cvijanović wrote on Instagram.

According to her, Cerić is now, as a former head of the Islamic Community and as a Muslim, proposing to Christian Serbs that they should not belong to the Serbian Orthodox Church, but that instead a so-called "Bosnian Orthodox Church" should be established.

"It is surprising that he did not ask one of the 'High Representatives' to impose such a solution," Cvijanović added.
