BANJA LUKA, APRIL 10 /SRNA/ - The Serbian member and Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović said that there is anxiety in Sarajevo due to global changes, which is why they are unsuccessfully trying to shift political processes into the security sphere.
Cvijanović expressed confidence that the EU Delegation in BiH and EUFOR understand the situation in BiH and have a responsible approach to any situation occurring here.
"We often hear certain phrases from them that may not reflect the true state of affairs, but I believe they have serious people who can assess whether something should or should not be done and what is or isn't within their mandate," said Cvijanović.
Regarding a letter she sent to the EU Delegation in BiH and EUFOR, Cvijanović explained that it was intended to remind them that everyone should have a rational approach and that political events should not be shifted to another domain.
"Although our colleagues, in an attempt to attract international attention or intervention, persistently claim that this is a security crisis, there is no such crisis; these are political processes," Cvijanović said.
She pointed out that these political processes should either give birth to a new healthy state or show that some are willing to live under a false rule of law and politicking, wherein they drag various institutions, from the judiciary to those that should be governing the state.
"After hearing all the hysteria from political Sarajevo, where all politicians were calling for EUFOR to assist in the arrest, even to carry out the arrest, it was my duty to warn that this would lead to negative developments," Cvijanović told RTRS.
She emphasized that she is ready to work with all representatives of Republika Srpska to strengthen peace, stability, and dialogue.
"The abuse lies in the fact that our colleagues from Sarajevo have become accustomed to privatizing not only the institutions of BiH but also the EU and the U.S. They are spoiled and have been behaving this way for 30 years. What we recognize, and what anyone who wants to be realistic will see, is that things are changing on the global stage, and finally, that is also the case in BiH," Cvijanović said.
