CVIJANOVIĆ: REMOVE THE HARMFUL CONSEQUENCES OF INTERVENTIONISM

SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 24 /SRNA/ - The Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović stressed that, as a sovereigntist, she believes it is high time for BiH to be returned to its peoples and institutions, for foreign interventionism to be rejected, and for its harmful consequences to be removed.

"Such an approach is clearly outdated, and I believe that there are increasingly more people around the world who understand the need to clean up the disorder that has accumulated in BiH over the past 30 years," Cvijanović wrote on the social network X after talks with Italy's Defence Minister Guido Crosetto.

Cvijanović pointed out that the security situation in BiH is stable, and that all challenges are exclusively political in nature and can be overcome only through political dialogue.

She added that she had an open and constructive discussion with Crosetto at the BiH Presidency.

"Italy is one of the largest and most important foreign trade partners of Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH. We share a common interest, which is preserving peace and stability in BiH and across the entire region," Cvijanović said.

She noted that the European path of BiH was also discussed during the meeting.

"Starting next year, Italy will lead the Operation Althea mission, and I am confident that good cooperation will continue in that area as well," Cvijanović said.
