CVIJANOVIĆ CONGRATULATES HERZOG AND ISRAELI PEOPLE ON INDEPENDENCE DAY

SARAJEVO, APRIL 21 /SRNA/ – The Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović extended congratulations to Israeli President Isaac Herzog and the people of Israel on Independence Day, stressing that the occasion stands as a testament to the exceptional strength and perseverance of the Israeli people.

"This day is a testament to the remarkable strength and resilience of the Israeli people who, faced with historical suffering and great challenges, succeeded in building their state and preserving it with pride and dignity", the congratulatory message from the Serb member of the Presidency pointed out.

She noted that the Serbian people, who themselves carry a deep memory of their own suffering and understand the struggle for survival and freedom, view this achievement with sincere respect.

"There are deep historical and spiritual ties between the Serbian and Jewish peoples, woven into a shared memory of suffering and a common aspiration for peace and freedom. Today, these ties represent a solid foundation for friendship and mutual understanding," Cvijanović concluded.

She wished Herzog and the people of Israel good health, peace, and prosperity.
