BRUSSELS MUST SAY - IS WHAT SCHMIDT IS DOING PART OF EUROPEAN LEGACY?

BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 12 /SRNA/ – The EU must tell Republika Srpska whether what Christian Schmidt is doing represents part of Europe's legal heritage, said SNSD Leader Milorad Dodik.

"If it is, then we have nothing to talk about. If it is not, then they must tell us how they plan to resolve that issue and remove it: only then can we talk," Dodik emphasized.

Dodik told the press at the Serbia Palace in Belgrade that Republika Srpska supports European integration, but not at any cost.

He stated that Republika Srpska is exposed to various forms of interventionism, primarily from the EU, which wants to stand behind some of its damaging, unlawful, and unconstitutional decisions that go against European standards, such as its support for the illegal Schmidt.

Dodik said that Republika Srpska is returning to the principles for joining the EU, namely the 14 key principles, and that it is deceitful to single out only one issue as being "Europeanly" important.

"So, give us back the 14 principles for EU accession that includes the Constitutional Court of BiH, and we will work on that. Before that, we will not do anything," Dodik concluded.
