ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, MAY 20 /SRNA/ – The Dayton Peace Agreement clearly defined that property belongs to Republika Srpska and the FBiH, not to BiH itself, Council of Ministers Deputy Chairman Staša Košarac said.
Košarac assessed that it is regrettable that, as he stated, elementary facts must be repeated to SDS leader Branko Blanuša, stressing that it is unbelievable that a man who wants to lead Republika Srpska accepts a narrative that has been imposed for years by the Bosniak politicians.
"When political representatives from Sarajevo open the ‘state property issue’, that is at least expected from their political perspective. But when SDS leader assists them in this, then a serious question arises - is this political ignorance or a willingness to sacrifice the interests of Republika Srpska for the sake of daily politics?" Košarac posted on X.
He says it is devastating that the leader of a party which, as he stated, was once a symbol of patriotism, now acts as though he is part of the same Bosniak political bloc.
"If Blanuša still does not understand after so many years what is written in the Dayton, he will never understand how to defend the constitutional position of Republika Srpska," Košarac said.
According to him, regardless of whether it is ignorance or a conscious acceptance of others’ dictates, the result is the same - the weakening of Republika Srpska’s position.
