BiH HAS CHANCE TO OPEN EU MEMBERSHIP TALKS

BRUSSELS, NOVEMBER 4 /SRNA/ – Following its October elections, BiH has a chance to show renewed commitment to reforms and start accession talks, EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos said.

Speaking at a news conference, Kos said the country was showing "less and less engagement" on its path to EU membership.

She stressed that BiH must urgently appoint a chief negotiator for talks with the EU and carry out the necessary judicial reforms, without which the European Commission cannot propose a negotiating framework to the European Council.
