AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR OPPORTUNITIES PRESENTED AT FAIR IN ISTANBUL

SARAJEVO, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - The Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH /FIPA/ presented BiH's investment potential at Automechanika Istanbul 2026, one of the most important international automotive industry fairs, highlighting that BiH has the capacity to become a regional hub for auto parts production and the development of the supporting automotive industry.

FIPA representatives Maida Bećirović and Stipo Đak presented the key advantages for investment in the automotive sector and auto parts manufacturing, the agency said in a statement today.

During the fair, a series of meetings was held with renowned auto parts manufacturers from around the world, including companies from Turkiye, Germany, Japan, Italy, China, South Korea, India, Spain and other countries.

At each meeting, FIPA representatives emphasized the specific advantages BiH offers investors, including a qualified workforce, competitive operating costs, favorable geographic position and a developed industrial tradition.

Participants in the meetings described the information on BiH's business conditions and sector potential as highly interesting and, in many cases, new to them, expressing satisfaction with the opportunity to learn more about the possibilities available to foreign investors in BiH.

Automechanika Istanbul 2026 is the leading automotive industry fair in the region, bringing together more than 1,400 exhibitors from over 40 countries.
