ZIDANE NAMED AS FRANCE NEW HEAD COACH

PARIS, JULY 28 /SRNA/ - French coach and former footballer Zinedine Zidane has been appointed as the new coach of the French national team, the French Football Federation announced.

Zidane was appointed two weeks after Didier Deschamps resigned following the defeat against England in the fight for third place at the World Cup.

Zidane /54/ is expected to make his debut in the "Gallic Roosters" bench in the Nations League match against Turkey on September 25 this year.
