XI: STRIVING FOR GREAT RENAISSANCE OF CHINESE NATION

WASHINGTON, September 25 /SRNA/ – Chinese President Xi Jinping says that Beijing - Washington relations are at a new turning point and entering a new historical stage.

Speaking during a formal dinner at the White House, Xi noted that U.S. President Donald Trump has committed to making America great again and helping the American people achieve significant success.

"China is, too, striving for great renaissance of the Chinese nation, while its modernization is continuously opening up new horizons. Both goals are ambitious and mutually complementary," Xi said.

According to Xi, China and the United States should seek a new approach to building their relationship.

"China and the USA should act as responsible major powers, meeting the expectations of our peoples, keeping pace with the times, and seeking new approaches to relations between our two great nations," Xi added.
