YIWU, OCTOBER 8 /SRNA/ - The city of Yiwu, located on China's southeastern coast in Zhejiang Province, is also known as the "world's supermarket," where a wide variety of products can be found.
More than 2.1 million products in 26 categories are sold across more than eight million square meters and over 80,000 shops, which is why the United Nations, the World Bank and Morgan Stanley have called it the "world's largest small commodities market."
"If you toured the market for eight hours a day and spent only three minutes in each shop, it would take more than a year to visit the entire market," the China Media Group reported.
