WITKOFF: PROGRESS MADE IN FINDING SOLUTION

WASHINGTON, SEPTEMBER 7 /SRNA/ - US President’s Special Envoy Steven Witkoff said that significant progress has been made in the process of finding a solution to the conflict in Ukraine, including in terms of reaching an agreement on trilateral talks between the United States, Russia and Ukraine.

He made the statement on "X" after visiting Russia and Ukraine over the weekend, together with another US envoy, Jared Kushner.

"President /of the United States Donald/ Trump is working hard to stop the killing and toward achieving lasting and sustainable peace," Witkoff wrote.

Citing unnamed sources, the Financial Times reported earlier today that Witkoff and Kushner brought revised versions of documents to their meetings in Moscow and Kyiv aimed at achieving peace in Ukraine and reflecting new circumstances that emerged after negotiations to resolve the Ukrainian crisis stalled in February.

The US envoys met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Saturday, September 5. They met with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Kyiv the following day.
