WASHINGTON AND TEHRAN REACH AGREEMENT TO END WAR

WASHINGTON, JUNE 15 /SRNA-Reuters/ - US and Iranian officials said the US and Iran had reached an agreement to end the war and open the Strait of Hormuz.

Reuters reported that the agreement was preliminary, and that additional talks would be held on Iran's nuclear program.

The framework agreement represents the biggest step forward so far in finding a solution to the US-Iran conflict, which began on February 28 this year.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the memorandum of understanding would be signed in Switzerland on Friday, June 19.

US President Donald Trump announced that the Strait of Hormuz will be opened on June 19 and said that he had already ordered the blockade of Iranian ports to be lifted.
