TWO PEOPLE KILLED, THREE POLICE OFFICERS INJURED

MINNEAPOLIS, SEPTEMBER 3 /SRNA/ - Two people were killed, and three police officers were injured in a shooting at a residential building in Minneapolis, city police said.

"Three police officers were injured, two of them by gunfire. The suspected shooter was killed," a city police spokesperson said at a press conference.

One police officer was reportedly shot in the leg, another is undergoing surgery, while the third sustained injuries that are not life-threatening.

The circumstances surrounding the suspect's death are being investigated.
