TRUMP RECEIVES CASKETS WITH THE BODIES OF US SOLDIERS

WASHINGTON, JULY 22 /SRNA-Reuters/ - US President Donald Trump attended the arrival ceremony for the caskets containing the bodies of four American soldiers who were killed in Iranian attacks in the Middle East.

The ceremony was held at the Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.

"We will pay our respects to them. For me as president, it is one of the hardest things to do. But it has to be done," Trump said ahead of his departure for the ceremony.

US presidents, vice presidents, and dignitaries regularly attend the solemn ceremonies at Dover during war or conflicts.

According to Pentagon data, the war has so far cost American taxpayers at least 37.5 billion dollars.

Eighteen members of the US military have been killed, and 450 have been injured. It is estimated that thousands of Iranians have died in the strikes.
